Search for "Sarwam" on the Google Play Store. Once installed, tap the Open button to launch the app.
A popup will ask to send you notifications. Tap "Allow" so you get order updates and delivery alerts. This is important!
You'll see the Sarwam logo on a black screen. This means the app is starting up. Just wait a moment — don't close the app.
The Sarwam logo with a loading spinner appears. Be patient — don't panic if this takes a few seconds. The app is connecting to the server.
You'll see the welcome screen with the tagline "Fresh meals from cloud kitchens". Tap "Continue with Google" to create your account quickly.
A popup shows all your Google accounts on the phone. Tap the one you want to use for Sarwam. Your name and email will be linked to your account.
The app shows "Connecting to Google... Securing your account details". Wait for this to finish — it only takes a few seconds.
Your name and email are auto-filled from Google. Now you need to enter your phone number in the field below. This is needed so the delivery rider can contact you.
Use the keyboard to type your 10-digit mobile number. Make sure it's correct — the kitchen and rider will use this to reach you.
Once your phone number is entered, the "Complete setup" button turns green. Tap it and you're signed up! Your account is now ready.
Tell Sarwam where you are so it can show kitchens near you and deliver to the right address.
Sarwam asks "Where can we deliver?" and explains why it needs your location. Tap the green "Allow Permission" button.
If your GPS is off, you'll see a red warning: "Location services are turned off". You need to turn on your device's GPS from the quick settings.
Swipe down from the top of your phone to open Quick Settings. Tap the Location icon to turn it on (it will turn blue/highlighted).
Android will ask how Sarwam can use your location. Select "While using the app" for the best experience. This lets the app find kitchens near you.
Now you'll see a map. Tap "Use current location" at the top and the map will zoom to your exact location. Or search for your address manually.
The map shows your location with a delivery pin. At the bottom you'll see your address and a green "We deliver here" badge. Tap "Confirm Address".
Turning on Notifications and Location is mandatory. Without these, the app cannot show nearby kitchens or notify you about your order status. If the app takes time to load, don't panic — just wait.
Browse kitchens, add items to cart, pay, and get your food delivered right away.
This is your home screen! You can see available kitchens with their food photos, names, and prices. Tap on any kitchen card to see their menu.
Inside the kitchen page, you'll see the menu items with prices. Tap the green "ADD" button next to the item you want to order.
The item is now in your cart! You'll see a bar at the bottom showing item count and total price. Tap "View cart" to review your order.
Check your selected items, quantities, and the price breakdown (items + delivery fee + platform fee). When ready, tap "Proceed to Checkout".
Verify your order items and delivery address. You can change the address if needed. Tap "Confirm & pay" to proceed to payment.
The secure payment gateway opens. Choose your preferred method — UPI (GPay), Card, Net Banking, or Wallet. Tap "Pay" to complete the transaction.
You'll see a "Payment Successful" notification at the top, and the screen shows "Confirming Order...". Just wait a moment.
Confetti! Your order is confirmed and the kitchen has received it. You can tap "Track Order" to see the live status of your delivery.
In the "Orders" tab, you can see all your active and past orders. Tap on any order to see its full details and status.
See everything about your order — items, order type, date, delivery address, and full bill breakdown. The status bar at the top shows your order's current progress.
Once delivered, the status turns to "Delivered" with a full green bar. You can Rate the Kitchen or tap "Reorder" to order the same meal again!
Want your meal delivered at a specific time tomorrow? Use the Pre-book option — only the checkout has one extra step.
In your cart, you'll see two tabs: "Delivery Now" and "Pre-book". Tap Pre-book to schedule your order for tomorrow.
At checkout, you'll see a "Prebook" section with time slots like 12:00 PM, 12:30 PM, 1:00 PM. Select your preferred delivery time. The rest is the same as instant ordering.
Instant: Your food is prepared and delivered right now. Pre-order: You order today and pick a time slot — your food is delivered tomorrow at your chosen time. Everything else (cart, payment, tracking) works the same way.
If you've already signed up before, here's how to log back in.
On the welcome screen, you have two options: "Continue with Google" (quickest) or "Login with email". If you signed up with Google before, just tap Continue with Google. Otherwise, tap Login with email.
Type the email address you used when signing up. Then tap the green "Send verification code" button. A 6-digit OTP will be sent to your email.
Check your email inbox for a 6-digit verification code from Sarwam. Enter it in the boxes shown on screen. Once verified, you're logged in and ready to order!
Yes. Sarwam needs your location to show kitchens near you and to deliver food to the right address. Without it, the app won't work properly.
Yes. Notifications keep you updated about your order status — when it's confirmed, when the rider picks it up, and when it's arriving.
Sarwam supports UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.), Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and Wallets through a secure payment gateway.
Pre-order lets you place an order today and choose a delivery time for tomorrow. Great for planning meals ahead!
Don't panic! Just wait patiently. The app may take a few seconds to connect to the server, especially on slower networks. Do not close or force-stop the app.
